Villa Pace has been chosen as one of the prestigious locations for the filming of “Alla festa della rivoluzione,” an important historical film directed by Arnaldo Catinari and produced by Italian International Film with Rai Cinema. The film, set in the 1920s, is a fine costume production, with a screenplay signed by Arnaldo Catinari and Silvio Muccino, loosely based on the book of the same name by Claudia Salaris. The cast features renowned actors such as Riccardo Scamarcio, Valentina Romani, Nicolas Maupas, Maurizio Lombardi and Darko Peric. The project, which enjoys the logistical support and contribution of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Commission – PromoTurismoFVG, kicked off on Oct. 21, 2024, and will end in Gorizia, Italy, on Dec. 6, for a total of seven intense weeks of production. The production chose several locations of great historical and architectural prestige throughout the region. Scenes were filmed in the historic center of Udine in iconic locations such as Piazza Libertà and Palazzo D’Aronco, while among the selected private historic residences stands out Villa Pace, which contributed its beauty and warm atmosphere to this important film production.
