On Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., the book “Casa Pace. A family and a villa between Venice and Imperio. ” in the convention hall of the Friuli Foundation in Udine. The book, edited by Professor Liliana Cargnelutti and published by Gaspari Editore, is both a research on the Pace family and the villa in Tapogliano, of which it analyzes architectural construction, restoration and some of the paintings preserved in it.
The book is dedicated to Marino Pace (1892 – 1963), the last Pace of the Gorizia branch who restored the mansion after the front crossed in World War I and II thinking this was a beautiful place to live. To all the women and men who rebuild their homes today after wars we hoped never to see again. And to all those who guard the world, culture and life and teach their children to do the same.
