On Saturday, November 9, as part of the fall edition of the “Festival of Historic Houses” organized by ADSI FVG, Villa Pace will host a series of cultural events:

  • From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the barchessa Stables, it will be possible to visit the photo exhibition “Biodiversity in the Lower Friulian Right Tower” by naturalist photographers Claudia Bazzeo and Alvaro Comar. The exhibition is curated by the Don Clemente Corsig Cultural Circle of Campolongo Tapogliano, and with the collaboration of the Palmarino Photographic Circle. The exhibition will also be open to the public on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the same time.
  • From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the hall on the second floor of the villa, the 19th-century costume dance group of the Circolo Triestino Cultural Association Dance Society will perform. The association promotes historical dance of the 19th century, with special reference to the Middle European bourgeois romantic period (1845-1860) – and will offer visitors a philologically reconstructed performance with music and choreography of the period.
  • At 6 p.m., presentation of the book “CICLONUGAE, sui pedali tra le pagine del Friuli” (Vol. II) by Alberto Pavan, a cycling-literary guide to Friuli (Prospero Ed., Milan, 2024). The volume narrates four travel itineraries in Friuli designed for bicycles and different means. The quoted author passages also allow one to move in time, as well as in the space of the places crossed. In this way, it prompts reflection on the layered and plural character of Friuli and its increasingly rapid metamorphosis of the landscape. Slow knowledge invites us to feel responsible and janitors of the land around us.

The day will end at 7 p.m. with a toast and vin d’honneur.
